This pattern of memory loss is unlikely to be because of head injury and appears to be psychological in nature (Dissociative Amnesia).
Most important things to be done are to cut down secondary gains and aid healthy problem solving (will require professional help to aid and judge the same).
You should consult a Psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
