Mild pancreatitis
My father is having fever and swelling in pancreas and detected with features of mild pancreatitis told us for surgery,is surgery is the only option can it be treated by medicines?

Get serum amylase & lipase done, surgery is required for complications of acute pancreatitis. You also have cholecystitis. You need medical management initially.
