Mild MVP
15 months back accidentally diagnosed of Mild MVP by a Physician which was confirmed by a Cardiologist. Is there any problem? Will there be any problem in future keeping in mind of her age? Cardiologist asked to conduct ECG every year. Please advice. Last ECG on 14/12/2014 says Valves Mitral valve MILD MVP. Other valves NORMAL. All 4 chambers normal. IVS and IAS Intact. Doppler Data Mitral Valve E=0.8 M/S, A=0.6 M/S. Impression : SITUS SOLITUS, LEVOCARDIA MILD MITRAL VALVE PROLAPSE NO SIGNIFICANT REGURGITATION NORMAL BIVENTRICULAR SYSTOLIC FUNCTION NO ASD/VSD/PDA/COA NO CLO/EFFUSION.

Anual ECHO will be enough. Many pts do not have any symptoms during their lifetime.
