Mild hearing loss
Hello sir my mom is 49 years old 4 days back she got sore throat and sudden ear pain and mild fever her COVID test reports are negative but from last 3 days she is not able to hear properly from one ear and got her checked from Fortis they told us anything could be possible there could be nerve damage they check her audio test and all it came out to be 30db PTA. I don't know what to do when she will recover please help

She may be suffering from Throat and ear infection ( Tonsillopharyngitis + Otitis media with effusion). Consult an ENT Specialist and get an Audiometry done.

Well 30 dB hearing loss means mild hearing loss. You need to check whether it's Conductive or Sensorineural hearing loss. If it's Conductive Hearing loss then probably it's due to infection and secretion gone via nose to middle ear via Eustachian tube leading to Serous otitis media. If it's Sensorineural neural hearing loss then it's due to viral infection which effected auditory nerve or inner ear.
