I can understand your concern.
What gait does he have. Gait related issues are neuro problems usually.
You have to get him checked out by a physician. Acupuncture doesn't do much for anyone. There is absolutely no proof that it even works slightly.
Consult a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management.
