Mild Cat Scratch
I got a very superficial cat scratch on my left hand. Its like a abrasion. I washed and applied antiseptic and took tt injection. I was started on arv and done with 0 dose. The doctor asked me to take the 3 dose schedule. Is this enough or should I take 5 dose. The scratch was very mild and superficial. Will 3 dose give me the same immunity as 5 dose. Or 5 dose is like too much?

1. Cat scratch with nail doesn't need ARV. 2. If you have started ARV, if injection is given in skin it is 4 doses. 0,3,7,28. 3. If it is given deep in muscle it is five doses. 0, 3, 7, 14, 28. This is according to WHO guidelines.
