Hello respected Doctors,
Recently done 2D echo and i was diagnosed with Mild AML Tip prolapse with Trivial Regurgitation. Is this condition serious? The cardiologist says this was due to friction. I'm worried it will progress because of mechanical wear over time. I don't have any bad habits, I wonder why it happened.
I was prescribed Ciplar 10 and Ivabrad 7.5 for 1 month.
Please help me 🙏

This is not a serious condition and the rate of progression is very slow. If you are concerned about it, you can repeat the echo to monitor the progress if any, at an interval of six months or 12 months. Don’t be worried.
