My ears got blocked last Wednesday. I met an ENT. He diagnosed that it is a middle ear infection and my eustachian tube is blocked. I was on an antibiotic (Cepodem XP 325) for 1 week. It made no difference. Now I visited another ENT specialist and showed him the earlier prescription. He has prescribed Augmentin 625 and suggested steam inhalation. Both doctors prescribed Otrinoz nasal drops.
Now I have started the second antibiotic course. I would like to know how long will this take to heal. My hearing is affected due to this and I hear my own voice loudly.
Please suggest any way to be healed from this condition.

You need to do the Valsalva Manouver after using the decongestant nasal drops. Go back to your recent ENT doctor who will teach you to do it correctly.
