A micrometastasis( pN1mi) to axillary lymph nodes metastasis will not fall in the category of metastasis as per TNM Staging for breast cancer. Stage 1B. We usually call axillary lymph nodes metastasis if it is macroscopic or
>200 cells. Metastasis means not always stage 4 unless it had distant metastasis ( example cancer spread to liver, lung, bone)
