Metoclopramide use during lactation
Does perinorm or reglan I mean metoclopramide drugs are harmful for nerborn baby if mother takes these medications during lactation? As American academy of pediatrics lebeled these medications as not safe..may of concern if taking during lactation affecting on newborn s nervous system...m worried as I have taken both of the medicines during breastfeeding...are these medications really pose a risk to my baby ..plz reply?

Dear parents,       Metaclopromide has been used to increase milk production as it increases the Prolactin level which increases milk production.   Long term given to mother, side effects are mentioned but about new born not fully mentioned or reported.
