I was prescribed to take meprate 10mg tablet each day for abnormal bleeding. Only one tablet per day. But I have seen in some sites that dosage should be 2 tablets per day. Is 1 tablet a day is sufficient for my problem??

Tablet Meprate can be given as one per day for heavy bleeding. If no response it can be increased to two per day

More importantly it should be taken for 21 days once started as treatment for heavy periods otherwise periods will become irregular
