Mental disorder after fever & typhoid
My dad is facing mental disorder after being affected by high fever and mild typhoid. The issue is happening from 2 days. He rarely sleeps and keeps on talking whole time while sleeping. He is eating very less and has become very weak as well. Currently he is taking an antibiotic, and medicines for fever and high bp. He is also a drinker.
What should be causing the issue here? Please help.

Hello,
The symptoms are of most likely due to sudden withdrawal from alcohol. Fever, fluid loss from body, age adds up to his symptoms. Please consult your physician and Psychiatrist as he requires joint care.
