I've been having my period for about a week or more and I usually only have it for a few days and it's extremely heavy bleeding, with some pain on my stomach wen I never have had cramps in my life. Unusually heavy periods can occur because of hormone problems, thyroid, fibroid. In case you have taken any hormone containing medicines like emergency pills, you may get heavy bleeding. Do an ultrasound pelvis and revert with report. Further treatment will depend on that
