I have irregular periods, intense pain and very heavy flow. The pain is often so bad that I end up vomitting and my periods last for 6 days. I don't know of this is normal or not.

This is not normal. This is dysmenorrhea. It requires treatment in form of pain killers and anti spasmodic.
