Mensis post pregnacy
Hi Doctor, One of my friends delivered baby 3 months back. She has mensuration since then, the flow is like how we all have on 4th or 5th day which is very little. Please advice is it okay or should she consult a doctor on person? She is breast feeding the baby as well.

Hello there...., If a woman exclusively breastfeeds her baby for six months, prolactin hormone that produce the breast milk will stop the ovaries from releasing an egg that is, there will be no ovulation for the first six months after the baby is born. A woman doesn't get her period during this time....If she is gette periods then it means that she is not feeding the infant properly, however other reasons also could be there.. Consult Gynecologist....
