Hi doctor, My name is Venus, 39yrs old.- plan for baby. I would like to check my menses delay 2 months,after I trying to get pregnant . This is first time delay more than 2 weeks. I would advise you to do a repeat UPT test now and if negative visit a OBGYN to rule out pregnancy through a beta HCG test and also get an ultrasound done to find the underlying cause of the delay in menses. A few lifestyle changes which would help in making the menses regular are: - Avoid fatty/fried/junk food - Exercise regularly - Destress yourself with practices such as yoga/meditation - Maintain a healthy body and diet - Have vegetable juices - Include corn, beets, lettuce, drumsticks, and pumpkin seeds in your daily diet - Avoid/Stop smoking and alcohol
