Meniscus tear in both legs
I have a meniscus tear in both legs , mri report showed transverse tear in posterior horn medial meniscus with minimal effusion for left leg .. where as for right it is focal tear in porterios horn medial meniscus wuth mild synovial effissiom. I have been using tablets of anti inflamation n vitamin d supplemts from 1n half montha bt i do t find any betterment. The pain was very little intiall which has occured die to aerobics and gym..later when i danced pain was a bit more.. now there is a berable pain while walking but i cannot sit on the floor and get up.. can anyone please suggest how much time would it talk to recover..and do i need any surgery for that tear . Please help me out

In my opinion u need to do complete bed rest along with physiotherapy sessions with a consultation from an Orthopedic as in my opinion by reading ur MRI it's not that severe to get it operated.. u need to stop all ur strainius activities icing is really important.. get well soon take care
