Meningococcal Vaccines
I had my first injection of meningococcal B vaccine (Bexsero) 3 days ago and need to get my second injection in a month's time. Today I had a meningococcal ACWY vaccine injection (Nimenrix), and usually only one injection of Nimenrix is needed. I read that having certain vaccinations in a close amount of time can make the body's immune response less effective. Because I had Bexsero 3 days ago, does that mean the Nimenrix vaccination won't be as effective? Should I take a 2nd dose of Nimenrix?
