Meningitis TB patient having mild fever
My father was diagnosed with TB Meningitis, the doctors had started all the 3 the att medicines - Ethambutol, pzide, rimpafcin .He suffered from medically induced hepatitis since the medicines were started all at once. Later we took advice from other doctor post which we got to know that Tuberculoma is also suspected(post MRI it was confirmed). The doctors started to give the 4 att medicines one by one after doing LFT's week after week.4 days back the last att medicine i.e. pzide was introduced. The current medicines being given are:- Rimpafcin 600mg Isoniazid 300mg Ethambutol 1000mg Pzide 1250mg. It's just that since past four days he is experiencing mild fever(upto 101.4 max) at times. Please suggest if this is normal to have fever during tb medication. His LFT showed normal when we got it tested 5 days back.WBC was elevated a bit as 11.8 Please suggest if it is okay to have fever while on tb medication. You inputs will be of great help🙏🏻🙏🏻
