Can MRI and CT scan track meningitis or not.Is there any specific test for the same if not done by MRI

Mri can diagnose active meningitis but not at very early stage Lumbar puncture and csf analysis will clinch the diagnosis of meningitis
Next Steps
How ever lumbar puncture advised after clinical examination of patient and fundus examination only
