Memory confusion
My neighbor girl is very depressed and confused. Nowadays she is not realizing recent happenings and always confused. Can this happen or is she acting? She seems really worried. Please help.

Yes if any person is disturbed, frustrated, emotionally low or the symptoms of depression- they tend to behave in different way and dont realise their mental status.  they will be introspecting the reason for innappropriate behavior or feeling of worried. You can suggest her for psychiatrist near your place or browse the people in practo, u might find the doctor and details of them. Stay positive take care

The symptoms are not very clear to merit a proper diagnosis. Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression.  The confusion may be due to anxiety or preoccupation with other matters. She will require a detailed assessment by a Psychiatrist to come to any conclusion
