Melasma requires long term treatment . It cant be cured but treated with regular cream and certain treatments . As skin tends to resynthesise melanin after a while so we have do one thing or the other to counter that either creams or peels .

Melasma as such don't have cure so the treatment is continuous with using creams reducing melanin content and photoprotection as a fundamental rule. This should be there on mind of every patient
