Hi , As suggested by practo doctor, I am continuing to give meftal suspension to my 3 yrs old son every 6 hrs. Hope that would not have any side effects on his body

As regards the side effects any thing in excess has side effects. You need to watch for abdominal pain, vomiting and some times drop in platelets.

If fever has come down make it every 8 or 12 hrs.
You can use it till 5 to 8 days without any side effects
If till then also fever doesn't go then have a consult
