Medicine post vaccination
I have taken covishield 6 days before On next day after taking vaccine i had fever..i take dolo 650..then after fever not come. On next few days i have weakness and heavy head and bodyache. I dont have diabetes or blood pressure. And not on any regular medication.. Now i have pain in right side of stomach. 2 years back i have kidney stones(small) This is similar kind of pain.. Can i take pain relieving medicine for that as i take covid vaccine 6 day before?

Yes you can as 6 days is good amount of time. Usually painkiller to be avoided before a vaccine as they are thought to dampen imune response to vaccine. After vaccine they can be used for pain. But try Paracetamol first. If not relieved try pain killers. It's all about the benefit and risk of taking pain killer. Even if it affects immune response, it may reduce by 5 to 10 percent
