My dermat has prescribed aldactone 50 mg . I get lot acne before my period week so she prescribed me. But the problem is my period date is tomorrow and usually I get day before it. But still i have not got period. So i. Wanted to know what does this medicine do for acne and does. It affects on period

Spirinolactone is a diuretic, but it is given for hormonal acne for its anti androgen effect. It can cause irregular cycles but don't nees to worry...you can speak to your dermatologist regarding that...
