Asked for Female, 20 Years

I am 20 years old female and i am suffering from severe hairloss from few months and also receeding hairline so i consulted a doctor and she suggested me to apply Mintop 2% solution for 7 days .. After reading about the product i found that it is to be used by men only. So can anyone please clear my doubts.. Whether should i use it or not?
