Medicine Composition for nephrotoxic
I am having bp medication i.e. Telmikind trio 12.5 (Telmisartan 40mg + cilnidipine 10mg + Chlorthalidone 12.5mg) And having cholesterol medication Rosulip 10 (Rosuvastin 10) And Ciplar LA 20 for anxiety. My grandfather died due to kidney failure. I have fear that I will get CKD for using these medications. My creatinine serum is 0.92 and egfr value is 119(24 yrs). I am 110kgs and 5.9feet height. My question:- is these medications are nephrotoxics? If yes, should I need to change the medications?

None of the medication you are using is nephrotoxic. Regarding your grandfather's kidney disease - Try to know the cause and risk factors of his kidney failure. Knowing more about the disease reduces the fear and anxiety associated with the disease Also it improves your weight management. After all stress is also a contributor for obesity. Obesity itself can cause all the diseases for which you are taking medication.

Blood pressure medication are not nephrotoxic. Please remove this misconception. Not taking Bp is more problematic and can cause issues
