Med Glimestar PM1 and Istamet DX-R 1000
I was earlier taking medicine- Glimestar PM1 by Mankind Pharma contains Glimepiride (1mg)+ Metformin (500mg)+ Pioglitazone (15mg) and have recently been prescribed istament dx-r 1000 contains Dapagliflozin (10mg)+ Metformin (1000mg)+ Sitagliptin (100mg)... Please can you suggest which is a better drug when compared to efficacy and less  side effects

Sir both medicine are effective in control of diabetes. Please let me know the frequency at which you are taking , what were the sugar levels when medicine were changed and what is HBA1C level now. There has to be a reason to increase metformine to 1000. Please control your sugar with diet and exercise along with medication
