MDR TB drugs intollerant
I'm a MDR TB patient and My MDR TB treatment is going through rntcp which started 1 year ago, The problem that I still have even after one year is whenever I take the drug ETHIONIAMIDE extreme adverse side effects get triggered instantly and stays upto 3 to 4 hours the side effects includes neuro optic neuritis extreme stomach pain and vomiting etc. Since it's covid time so govt. rntcp opd are unavailable, I have no side effects or problem with any other drug it's only ethioniamide, I even went to eye doctor and got to know that ethioniamide Inflamate my optic nerve and adviced me to consult any tb expert for replacement of ethioniamide with pyrazinamide or clofazimine or pas if possible.My Current Drugs are CAT 4 drugs which is (6 month KANAMYCIN, PARAZINAMIDE, ETHUMBUTOL, ETHIONIAMIDE, CYCLOSERINE, LEVOFLOXACIN) & Continuation Phase ( LEVOFLOXACIN, CYCLOSERINE, ETHUMBUTOL, ETHIONAMIDE) Im currently on continuation phase Any doctor please help to replace ETHIONAMIDE with suitable one.
