Mantoux test
Hello doctor my mantoux test done two days ago. I attached pics. Can you please tell me is it positive or negative. Today pathology lab where my test is done is closed for 2 days. So please help me. My past history.
I was diagnosed tuberculosis 2 years ago and I completed my full course and after doctor consultation medicine stopped after 1 year. Again due to pain in my full body so my physician adviced test. So please can you tell me the result.

Size of induration needs to be measured and then interpreted physically not by checking at pictures,need to evaluate for your symptoms further with appropriate investigations and mantoux test doesn't help much now as u are infected already last two years ago

Hi. I understand your concern. Firstly tuberculosis can not be diagnosed based on Mantoux. It's very non specific test. Do a online consult for a detailed analysis of your symptoms and to suggest you further management plan and treatment prescription for the same

The exact size has to be measured. Pl inform with How many tu s mantoues test is done.The result is not much useful, when already you have taken ATT.If the symptoms are present,you can do appropriate investigations.Single mantoues test, is not at all useful.
