Hi, My wife is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for nearly three years. She takes painkillers very often to control the pain. Could you please kindly suggest how to manage pain through CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). Looking forward for your valuable suggestions. Thanks.

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. CBT is more to do with managing and handle emotions and thoughts. Handling pain is more of physical handling. May be counselling support will help her to cope up with the mindset to continue the treatment with a conviction.
In parallel you need a to look at alternatives therapies like ayurveda that can help to improve the treatment with massive therapy, home remedies etc.
