Melasma is difficult to treat but a lot of options are there. First and foremost, you have to follow strict sunprotection. Do not move out of house without sunscreen application 20 mins prior. Creams and tablets can be prescribed for melasma. Please send photos using online consult option for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Please don't use over the counter steroid containing skin lightening creams.
