Major depressive disorder
I have been diagnosed with MDD 3 months back because I was having extreme facial burning sensation. I have been taking desvenlafaxine 50and etizolam mg from past 3 months, I still have 50...60 % pain. How long it takes to heal MDD?

Facial burning sensation all etiologies to be ruled out. Consult psychiatrist

Facial burning sensation..detail evaluation needed ..if there is improvement then u should increase the dose after consulting psychiatrist

Keep regular follow-up With your Psychatrist generally a depressive episode take 4 month To subside if not then you need to either increase the medication or change medication to more newer molecules such as vertioxitine . But that can be done by you are Psychatrist After doing you are mental state examination.

Medicine alone can't cure u . Along with that u need to get therapy, change ur lifestyle, think positive, avoid negative and fake people around you and many more what can u do for urself..
