Magnesium during pregnancy
Hi Doc , Thank you for always taking out time to address our queries.. I heard magnesium is given in pregnancy for those who have risk of preterm labour.. is there any time frame or should that be given just before delivery..once magnesium is taken how long the pregnancy can continue? Thank you!

Preterm labour if started after 32 weeks, we generally don't give mgso4, we prefer other medications If less than 32 weeks, we give for neuro protection for the baby
