Any TB the infectivity goes down phenomenologically with start of treatment ,so doesn't matter

If there is caseation TB should be seriously considered even if AFB is negative.it is not contagious,

reports are suggestive of TB in the nodes. If the TB is only in the nodes, then it is not contagious. But upto 5-25% of the people with TB lymphadenopathy may have TB in the lungs also, that can be contagious
