Lymph node
I am at 25 year old with no serious medical history. Just a gastrointestinal issue since Sep-2019 which has been under treatment since then. However, in November 2019 a small bump appeared behind the left ear exactly next to the lining of the hair. It seemed to have appeared post scratching the scalp a lot due to dandruff irritation which later when I had shown to my family doctor and also a dermatologist, they said it's due to the dandruff and rigorous itching that I did. It's been many months but the node is still present. It's stiff but never pains or causes an issue. If you press it, squeezes as well. Only concern is it's been there for so many months as per my understanding it usually goes away in a few weeks. There's no pain but just wanted clarity if it could be something to worry about or alarming. This is the only lymph node on my body and first ever.

Lymph nodes are present in our body as they sites for producing antibodies. Whenever there is infection the lymph nodes draining those areas enlarge as a response for producing antibodies.
Next Steps
you must take a detailed consultation to arrive at a conclusion.
