Lump in front of ear

Asked for Female, 16 Years

I have noticed a lump in front of my right ear on the parotid region. I only started noticing this yesterday. It may be a swollen lymph node, although I am not sure because I have never had one before, I also don't have a sore throat or any infection that I know of. It is tender and can move when touched, there is a feeling of pressure in my ear and around the condyle.

You seem to be having pre auricular lymph node enlargement which usually occurs secondary to infections of the ear canal or skin of the scalp and face. Usually it will resolve on its own within few days. If it is painful then you may need to take antibiotics and painkillers
