Lower right abdominal pain

Asked for Female, 32 Years

Hi, 4 days back I had sever lower abdominal pain. I took medicine from doctor. Doctor advised sonography. Now I just feel little pain when I press below belly button on right hand side. Do I need to do sonography? Thanks, Trupti

Do you have burning sensation during passing urine? Or increased frequency of urination? along with fever? If these are the case then it might suggest an urinary tract infection. It would be prudent to check your urine for routine and c/s. Also if the pain is during periods then it might suggest gynaecological problem.

Next Steps

if the urine test is normal then proceed for ultrasound.
