Lower Left leg ankle wound and pain
Hello Doctors, I need advice for my father who has been experiencing pain in lower left leg near ankle. He is having varicose veins for past several years and managing through leg elevation and stockings as advised by doctor. Recently there has been a kind of wound exactly on the joining area of the leg and foot and it's extremely painful for him. Sometimes there's some watery discharge from that. Have been advised by our family doctor to take
Cap Moxikind CV 625 1 twice daily for 5days
Tab Calpol 650 1 tab thrice for 3 days
And also washed with Potassium Permanganate solution and applied drez spray.
Still pain has not come down and infact now there is pain while on rest after starting the tablets.
Kindly advise what sort of issue is this and what is the best course of treatment to make this better. Thank you in advance for your earliest replies.

The pain can be due to the wound caused because of varicose veins....Presently antibiotic and a painkiller is prescribed by the doctor.If the wound is not healing the pain will not subside..Homeopathy has good scope for varicose ulcers..The wound will start healing with homeopathic medicines..calendula and echinacea tincture will help to heal the wound.
