Lower back soreness
I am a 23 year old female and have been having a dull, achy kind of soreness in my lower back, right above my glutes. This has been happening for the past 3 weeks and the incident which set it off was me doing a deadlift in the gym. It has not affected my movement as such and I have been able to stretch and work out as usual. But the soreness still persists. I don't know if it's just a muscle problem or maybe something serious like a herniated or slipped disc. The pain is mainly confined to the lower back. Please tell me how to go about this. I don't want to get crippled and be in a state where I'm never able to go to the gym again.

Since you have been lifting weights , I would suggest you to build up the strength of your core muscles and activate the core while lifting weight If the pain persists you require a detailed assessment  and be treated based on the findings
