Lower back pain and fatigue, UTI may be?
Hello, my wife has been showing up UTI symptoms like burning sensation while passing urine in the early morning, lower back pain and fatigue. We did Urine Routine test, and found bacterial presence. But the Doctor told us that the bacterial presence is due to the LRTI infection she was suffering from, and the pus cells count is also normal, so no UTI. She was given Mega CV 1.2 antibiotic for 5 days and the LRTI infection has gone. However she has UTI symptoms. We are confused what to do now. Please suggest

Pus cells does not always mean infection, though a urine culture test is better investigation to determine significant urine infection
Next Steps
Get a urine culture and sensitivity test and also a sonography of KUB with pvr to see how much urine is left behind
