Your symptoms—low energy, body weakness, irritability, reduced sex drive, and erectile dysfunction—can be associated with low testosterone, but a single testosterone value of 269 ng/dL is not enough to diagnose testosterone deficiency. Testosterone levels naturally vary throughout the day, so the diagnosis is based on both symptoms and consistently low early-morning testosterone levels. Your fasting blood sugar of 106 mg/dL is in the prediabetes range, which can also contribute to reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, and fatigue. Other conditions such as obesity, poor sleep (including sleep apnea), stress, thyroid disorders, and certain medications can also lower testosterone levels or produce similar symptoms. The good news is that many of these causes are treatable, and men often improve once the underlying problem is identified and managed.

Health Tips
Focus on lifestyle measures that naturally support testosterone and sexual health: Achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Exercise regularly, including strength training. Sleep 7–9 hours each night. Manage stress. Eat a balanced diet and limit alcohol and smoking if applicable. Because your fasting sugar is in the prediabetes range, improving your lifestyle can benefit both your blood sugar and your sexual health. With proper evaluation and treatment, many men your age experience significant improvement in energy, libido, and erectile function, so this condition is often manageable and, depending on the cause, may be reversible. Thank you

Please consult for a complete evaluation. Low testosterone is often treatable, but the underlying cause should be identified before starting treatment.
