Hello my dear friend At a creatinine of 1.6 mg/dl ( near normal kidney function in elderly) she doesn't need lasix to prevent fluid retention!!! Please consult an experienced nephrologist at regular intervals ... He would take care of kidney function Also I am pretty sure she doesn't require chronic lasix ... If at all there are newer diuretics which spare potassium Also she's on steroid ... Why so?? Need to  understand it and taper it off if possible  .  Steroid can cause low potassium levels and fluid retention
Next Steps
stop lasix after consulting an experienced nephrologist and revisit steroid dosing
