Low PAPP-A Count during pregnancy
Hi, I am 35 years of age and currently pregnant for 3 months. I did a Double Marker test and the Down syndrome risk was recorded as 1:370(Based on Maternal Age), 1:1709(Based on Serum BioChemistry) and the combined risk is 1:7409. My PAPP A count was low and recorded as 0.37MoM. Doctor advised me to do a NIPT (Non Invasive Prenatal Testing) , due to low PAPP A and my age. Is my PAPP A reading really low for my age of 35? Is it really risky for the kid? Please advice. Thanks
