Low HCg value
Hi ,
My sister has conceived, upt test is positive. Beta hcg was 250. Considering LMP , she is in 6th week. Is the beta hcg value very low? What could be the possible reasons? She does have late ovulation, but it is atleast 20days since that.
Note: We have a second beta hcg to be done tomorrow.
Please help us understand.

Single beta bhcg titers only tell if the patient is pregnant or not you need to repeat betahcg titers in 48 hours
doubling ensures normal intrauterine pregnancy
