Low AMH & high FSH value
Hi, Me and my wife had been married for 4 years. My wife had a miscarriage 2 years back. we started trying again for 4 months now. When consulted the gynae, we had undergone tests for AMH and FSH. The values of AMH are 0.33 and FSH is 14.1 When consulted an infertility specialist, we were told that IVF is the only option left and that too had to be done immediately. Please suggest

Your wife's hormones suggest that she has a low ovarian reserve. Ivf is the best option because her hormones suggest that she may end up with premature menopause and ivf has the best success rate and we should not be wasting the precious time. However it can never be said that she cannot conceive normally. But time is the limiting factor and don't waste the precious time.
