Loss of smell in covid
My father developed covid symptom one week back. He lost his smell yesterday. Please let me know if losing of smell is a sign of recovery or at least we may hope that things are not severe and the infection is at mild level.

As a ent surgeon I can tell u there is no correlation between loss of smell and severity of dis6and it's a bad sign. Since few people are not recovering from this loss of smell afterwards also.
