Even if he doesn't desire for eating still he has to eat and eating healthy will help to fight covid...taste sensation will be back after 1 month...so no need to worry...look for saturation and that should be above 94%

Kindly take proper Doctor consult... And get his COVID test done... Meanwhile give him Tab Pan 40mg once daily (empty stomach) and Syrup Mucaine Gel 5ml three times a day.
