Loose stools
My son woke up vomitting his undigested rice two days ago at night, next day morning the vomiting stopped, but he was feeling uneasy, then passed one stool which was loose, got fever eventually We went to doctor, he has asked to give ondem for vomitting episodes if any and have asked to manage the temperature with CALPOL. Since last night there is no fever, one episode of loose stool, ate one slice of bread but is very sleepy, having water little sips but having it. Is there anything I need to be attentive to. Pls advise

You need to keep a watch on his urine frequency. If he is passing less than usual, and reducing to eat or feed then it is a concern. Even if fluids intake can be maintained, then less food intake is ok for 1-2 days. ORS is a must. Kindly visit in person if urine is reduced or fever is persistent, or blood in stools or decreased intake for fluids and water as well
