My daughter is 4 months old. She is on mixed feed. Last month she had diarrhoea and after few tests doctors confirmed it is lactose intolerance so we gave her isomil for 10 days along with antibiotics and pro gg drops and diarrhoea subsided. Now again she had loose stool twice yesterday and doctor said looks like some infection in stomach and asked to continue pro gg again for 5 days. Now after giving pro gg also she passed loose stool twice today and it is seedy consistency. Now am not giving her formula and she is only on breastfeed. And her urine count is 6+ in 24 hours. And she gained only 200 grams weight in last 18 days.
Why is diarrhoea occurring again? Does it mean she is lactose intolerant?? Do we need to undergo any tests ?? We are so worried. Please help

First of all nothing to worry here.
Diarrhea can occur it has variety of causes including what mother consumes also.
No it not necessarily means lactose intolerance.
U need to undergo further testing if present situation is not improving. Also u can stop pro GG. And add zinc.

Firstly, diarrhoea means passing watery stools, look at the consistency of stools, are these extremely thin and water like or these are semi solid?
And loose stools twice a day is not much to worry about, dehydration due to watery stools can occur only after passing multiple such stools / day and not giving enough intake ( breastmilk) during diarrhoea episodes.
For now you can ensure timely breastfeeds, including night time feeding as well, also if you want to continue giving formula feeds , don’t use bottles, rather use spoon and katori and wash them after every use.
Next Steps
Lactose intolerance can be diagnosed after certain tests performed on stool sample. You can take proper consultation for this.
